The campaign aims to reduce the 50% infection rate and reduce the 50% IP addresses in 10 popular botnets. At the same time, the campaign also contributes to improve the country's reliability in e-transactions, promotes socio-economic development, contributes to ensuring national defense and security.
The campaign will be divided into 3 phases: before, during and after the campaign. In particular, the pre-campaign period includes unification, careful preparation for the plans and events to cover. Currently, the campaign has entered phase 2.
The campaign phase lasted about 1 month, including the following phases: assessing the operation of 10 large botnets that need to be treated with priority; rated at the ISP level; build support tools; Deploying the tool on a large scale, whereby users get free downloads of tools to inspect and remove malicious code from their computers. "After the campaign, we will evaluate the results and plan to implement the next campaigns," the representative of NCSC said.
Deployed on the entire Vietnamese cyberspace, the campaign has been implemented synchronously in all provinces and cities from the local to the central level, through the system of specialized IT units of ministries, branches and localities.
